Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 17, 2026
Mins Bot ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Mins Bot desktop application and website (collectively, the "Service") handle information. The short version: we do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal data.
1. Summary
- Mins Bot runs locally on your device.
- We do not operate servers that store your files, messages, browsing activity, or credentials.
- We do not sell or share any personal data with third parties.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- Any Google user data accessed through the Service is used only to provide features you explicitly request, is processed locally, and is never transmitted to servers we control.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Mins Bot is designed to operate without collecting personal information. Specifically, we do not collect, store, or retain:
- Files, folders, or filesystem contents on your device.
- Emails, calendar events, documents, or other Google user data.
- Messages, chats, or content from Slack, Discord, email, or other integrations.
- Browsing history, URLs, form contents, or pages visited by the agent.
- Authentication tokens, passwords, or API keys (these are stored locally on your device only).
- Analytics, telemetry, usage metrics, or device fingerprints.
3. How the Service Works
Mins Bot is a desktop application. When you use it, actions are performed locally on your machine. Where a task requires calling an external service (for example, an AI model provider, a messaging API, or a Google API you have authorized), data is sent directly from your device to that third party under your credentials. We do not proxy, log, or store that traffic.
Google User Data
If you choose to connect a Google account (for example, for Gmail, Google Drive, or Google Calendar integration), Mins Bot's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Google user data is requested only with scopes necessary to perform features you explicitly invoke.
- Google user data is processed locally on your device and is not transferred to, or stored on, any server we control.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.
- We do not sell, transfer, or share Google user data for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data, except (a) with your explicit consent, (b) as required by law, or (c) where strictly necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse).
4. Credentials and Tokens
When you authenticate with a third-party service (Google, Slack, Discord, etc.), the resulting tokens are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard credential storage mechanisms. They are never transmitted to us. You can revoke access at any time from the third party's security settings (for example, Google Account permissions).
5. Website
This website is a static informational page. It does not use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising pixels. Your visit is not logged by us beyond standard, short-lived web server access records maintained by our hosting provider for operational security.
6. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
8. Contact
